Cúram was established in 1989 and has since been delivering services and supports to the local community. Cúram serves the Clár area which is made up of 13 ded's. Cúram provides a caring and confidential environment where individuals, families and groups can empower themselves through education, training and information. Cúram provides practical services/supports to the local community.
While our services and supports are available to all in our community our particular focus are those disadvantage/marginalised. Such was the response to the services and supports provided that in, 1996 and 2013, the centre was extended to cater for the growing needs in the community.
